A quantity of cocaine and cannabis was discovered the previous day inside Prison 313 in Tirana. The drugs are suspected to have been hidden in food, specifically cooked pasta.

During searches of the prison premises, a total of 17 doses of cannabis and 12 doses of cocaine were seized.
Authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the case, while the exact way the drugs were brought into the prison and the people responsible are also expected to be determined.
