Albulena Haxhiu, Speaker of the Assembly and Acting President of Kosovo, has expressed her condolences to the family of police officer Altin Kryeziu. He died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a traffic accident while on duty.

In a Facebook post, Haxhiu said she was deeply saddened by the news of Kryeziu’s death. She praised his contribution to the Kosovo Police, emphasizing that he had chosen the profession to serve the public.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of police officer Altin Kryeziu, who was unable to survive the injuries he sustained after being struck by a vehicle while on duty.
Today, his family lost a loved one, while the Kosovo Police lost a colleague and member who had chosen his duty as a service to others,” Haxhiu wrote.
