The fire that has engulfed the area near the village of Nikushtak, in the Municipality of Likova, remains active, while teams on the ground are trying to contain and extinguish it.

According to the morning report from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, director Stojançe Angelov said that the fire in the territory of Nikushtak was out of control.
Yesterday, Air Tractor aircraft were also involved in the operation to extinguish the flames, dropping a total of 81 tonnes of water.
The mayor of the Municipality of Likova, Erkan Arifi, is also at the scene, closely monitoring and coordinating the measures being taken to manage the situation.
The operation involves teams from the Kumanovo Territorial Firefighting Unit, equipped with three firefighting vehicles; members of National Forests; the commander of the Mateç Police Station; police officers; the director of the Crisis Management Center; representatives of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue; and residents of the surrounding villages.
The centers and teams involved are working in coordination, with the aim of containing the spread of the fire and protecting residents and their property.
CMC director Muhamed Ali said that operations on the ground are being directed firsthand and that the teams are making every effort to prevent the fire from spreading further.
The Crisis Management Center announced that, if weather conditions permit, aerial intervention may also be carried out during the day to contain the fire as quickly as possible.
The Municipality of Likova has expressed its gratitude to all the teams and citizens helping to deal with the situation.
