Compared with last year, demand for the General Medicine program has increased by nearly 15%.
The test taken by graduates today is a “filter” used by the Faculty of Medicine to select the best students. The test began at 8:30 a.m., and for 60 minutes, graduates, divided into groups, answered questions on biology, chemistry and physics—subjects related to medical science.
The computerized testing will continue until Friday, after which the total points accumulated by graduates will be calculated. In order to be ranked among the winners for the Medicine program, they will need 30 points from this test and 70 points from the State Matura.
