A serious accident occurred in Durrës this morning, resulting in the death of a 66-year-old pedestrian identified as Fezi Dine. The taxi driver, 26-year-old Aldi Talelli, has been arrested by police.

He had all the required documentation to drive a taxi, including a taxi driver’s permit. He has been driving for eight years. According to the test conducted, he was not under the influence of alcohol.
He is currently being questioned by a judicial police officer. In his initial statement, the 26-year-old taxi driver said that “he lost control of the vehicle.”
