Vehicle traffic on the Elbasan-Cërrik road has returned to normal after Albanian Road Authority teams successfully cleared the roadway affected by the rupture of the main “Naum Panxhi” irrigation canal.

The problem arose around midday on Saturday, when damage to the canal caused water and debris to suddenly spill onto the road. As a result, vehicle traffic was completely halted for several hours.
Normality was fully restored on the Elbasan-Cërrik road after several hours of intensive work and the maximum commitment of teams on the ground.
