The Skopje Basic Criminal Court announced that the case against former Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi and seven other people, accused of wrongdoing at the State Lottery JSC through automatic distribution, has been assigned to a judge, while the hearing is scheduled for August 24.

The indictment was previously filed by the Skopje Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, during 2023 and 2024, Artan Grubi and the seven other defendants acted jointly, exceeding the limits of their special powers and responsibilities. They are suspected of intending to cause significant damage amounting to 507,632,173 denars to the injured legal entity, the Joint-Stock Company for Organizing Games of Chance, State Lottery of the Republic of North Macedonia.
