Former Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati has commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Serbia, stressing that it should be viewed in the context of the existential war Ukraine is facing.

According to Bushati, although no one expected any significant breakthrough from the visit, the Ukrainian head of state could have expressed greater appreciation for Ukraine’s partners in Southeastern Europe, including Kosovo.
“Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Serbia should be understood in the context of the existential war Ukraine is facing. No one expected any major breakthrough. However, Volodymyr Zelenskyy could have shown greater appreciation for Ukraine’s partners in Southeastern Europe, including Kosovo, which has stood firmly by Ukraine,” Bushati wrote on X.
