Its restoration was announced by Mustafa Dauti, deputy director of the Customs Administration, in a video posted on social media. The message “Welcome!” has also been restored to the sign.
The institutions’ swift response was viewed as evidence of the commitment of VLEN officials to implementing and protecting Albanians’ guaranteed rights in practice.
While such issues previously went unnoticed, institutions are now acting quickly to correct them.
The restoration of the Albanian language on the welcome sign is also being presented as another indication that institutions led by VLEN officials are acting responsibly and decisively to protect the equality and dignity of every citizen.
