To gain a closer understanding of the reasons that sparked the popular revolt, Debey observed the dynamics of the gatherings and the situation on the ground, visiting Tirana, Vlora and the protected area of the Narta Lagoon.

According to the editor-in-chief of ‘L’Impertinent’, the message conveyed by the reaction of Albanian citizens is not limited to the removal of a single politician, but aims at the complete transformation of the system.

“For more than a month, thousands of Albanians have been taking to the streets in protest every evening after finishing work, without paralyzing the country. Their demand is not the resignation of just one person. They want an end to the 35 years during which power has remained in the hands of the same names. We visited Tirana, Vlora and the Narta Lagoon,” Amèle Debey said.
