The Student Parliament of South East European University (SEEU) today submitted an official request to the Ministry of Justice for the Bar Exam, as well as other professional exams, to also be held in Albanian.

According to the students’ statement, the document was submitted to the new minister of justice. They hope that, after assuming his new responsibilities, the minister will treat this issue as a priority and take concrete steps toward a fair solution.
The statement said that the request for the Bar Exam and other professional exams to be held in Albanian was submitted on behalf of the SEEU Student Parliament.
The students stressed that their position has not changed since the initiative was launched: equal opportunities must be ensured for every student, and language rights must be fully respected.
They also emphasized that the request is not related to politics, but to equality, the enforcement of the law and, above all, the protection of students’ rights.
