During an interview on ABC News’ “Tirana Live” program, Lamallari explained that the decision was based on information gathered and consultations held with security agencies.
The minister stressed that the Albanian authorities would not tolerate agendas or incitement to violence that threaten the country’s security. He added that the State Police continued its efforts to maintain order and guarantee public safety.
Lamallari emphasized that, as Albania moves ever closer to the European family, it must act as a member state by taking every necessary measure for national security and preventing the interference of agendas harmful to Albania, the region and beyond.
