The Alliance Parliamentary Group has called for the immediate convening of an extraordinary session of the Kosovo Assembly, with the aim of completing the constitution process within the remaining hours.

In a press statement, the head of the group, Besnik Tahiri, announced that the initiative had been undertaken in coordination with other political forces and that the proposed meeting would begin at 22:30.
“As a parliamentary group, in consultation with our other colleagues, we have submitted a request for an extraordinary session, which should convene tonight at 22:30,” Tahiri said.
He explained that the aim of the elected and sworn-in MPs is to approach the chair of the constitutive session to resume proceedings and see them through to completion.
“We, with our authority as elected and sworn-in representatives in the Assembly, will meet to call on the chair of the constitutive session to convene the meeting so that we can complete the process tonight,” Tahiri emphasized.
This request comes as the constitutive session is officially scheduled to continue on Saturday, starting at 11:00.
Although that meeting is on the calendar, the legal deadline for the full constitution of the Assembly expires precisely at midnight tonight.
