Kosovo Police have released footage of the detention of a person with the initials J.R., who is suspected of committing war crimes.

The footage was shared by Kosovo Police in a Facebook post after the Basic Court in Pristina decided on August 3 to order one month of pretrial detention for the suspect.
The court justified its decision by citing the risk that, if allowed to remain free, the defendant could influence evidence and witnesses, hindering the normal course of the criminal proceedings.
