A road accident occurred in Korçë’s No. 10 neighborhood, where a vehicle struck an 82-year-old woman as she was crossing the street.

According to preliminary information, the elderly woman was moving from one side of the road to the other when she was hit. Immediately after the incident, the driver took her to Korçë Regional Hospital for medical assistance.
Doctors said the 82-year-old woman sustained serious injuries but is out of danger.
The driver was escorted to the police station, while work continues to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
