The news was disclosed exclusively to KosovaPress by sources within the Kosovo Assembly.
The constitutive session could begin at around 20:00 or 21:00. At this session, the Vetëvendosje Movement is expected to propose its candidate for speaker of the Assembly.
Meanwhile, VV leader Albin Kurti and LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku are meeting to discuss the possibility of reaching an agreement on the issue of the president.
Before meeting with Kurti, Abdixhiku said that the Assembly must be constituted today, stressing that the party he leads would not submit. Kurti, for his part, said there would be news as soon as an agreement was reached.
A day earlier, Kurti did not put forward a candidate for speaker of the Assembly, as he requested more time to negotiate a political agreement with the LDK.
