A three-vehicle crash occurred around midday on Thursday on the Sarandë-Ksamil national road, near the area known as Manastir.

Three vehicles collided, leaving several people injured. Ambulances and police services immediately arrived at the scene.
Two people injured in the crash were taken to the emergency department in Sarandë. They are two foreign nationals, 24-year-old Jove Pibrall Jove and 37-year-old Catia Picac, Spanish citizens visiting Sarandë as tourists.
According to medical staff, 24-year-old Jove Pibrall Jove suffered an injury to his lower back and was therefore transported by ambulance to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
Meanwhile, 37-year-old Catia Picac suffered a head injury but will be treated at Sarandë Hospital.
There is still no information about the cause of the three-vehicle crash or who was responsible. The accident left two foreign nationals injured and caused extensive material damage.
