Bujar Osmani, deputy leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), has announced that the Albanian language is no longer displayed on the official welcome sign at the border of North Macedonia.
“The Albanian language has been removed from the official sign welcoming travelers at the border of North Macedonia,” Osmani wrote on the “X” platform.

He emphasized that, according to the latest population census, Albanians account for 29.5% of the population, while the use of the Albanian language is guaranteed by the Constitution and the law.
According to Osmani, its exclusion from an official state sign constitutes a lack of institutional legality, discrimination and a deliberate provocation./Telegrafi/
