Pacolli clarified that the two Cadastral Agency officials are members of the Serb community and are also known as former members of “Civil Protection.”

According to her, the contracts were terminated because of continued absences from work and based on recommendations from the National Audit Office.

Following these decisions, the total number of contracts terminated at the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and its subordinate institutions has reached 29.

“The contracts of 20 MESP officials were terminated earlier, and the measure has now also been taken against nine KEPA and KCA officials,” Pacolli said.

The acting minister stressed that all employees of public institutions are required to fulfill the responsibilities set out in their employment contracts. She warned that the law would be enforced without distinction.

“We will not compromise in enforcing the law, regardless of affiliation or position, as public officials have an obligation to serve citizens responsibly and in full compliance with their official duties,” Pacolli said.
