A civilian vessel owned by Russia’s state nuclear energy company Rosatom sank overnight in the Black Sea after being hit by two Ukrainian drones, the company’s director, Alexei Likhachev, announced.
Likhachev said all 17 crew members survived the attack. The vessel was carrying cargo, including frozen food and construction materials.

“This attack can be described as nothing other than piracy and armed robbery at sea,” he said.
These claims were made by the Russian side, while Ukraine has so far issued no official response.
