Two bar owners in Golem have each been fined 200,000 lek by Durrës Police after music at their establishments was found to exceed the permitted noise level.

Officers from the Golem and Beach police stations carried out inspections in tourist areas to verify compliance with legal noise limits and the designated hours for activities involving music. The inspections focused on areas considered at risk of noise pollution, as well as locations that had been the subject of complaints from residents.
During the operation, several businesses and both indoor and outdoor premises were inspected using measuring devices to determine whether maximum noise levels complied with current legislation.
According to police, measurements showed that two bars in Golem were playing music above the permitted limit. For this violation, the owners, identified by the initials G. Gj., 46, and F. S., 30, were each fined 200,000 lek.
In addition to measuring noise levels, police also checked compliance with the permitted hours for music in outdoor areas of residential neighborhoods, which run from 11:00 to 24:00.
