The European Parliament has called on Kosovo to ensure that its institutions are functioning in order to accelerate essential reforms and advance the normalization of relations with Serbia.

According to the European Parliament, a functioning legislature and government are essential for implementing reforms linked to the European Union, as well as supporting Kosovo’s progress toward EU membership as a potential candidate country.
“Kosovo must accelerate reforms and normalize relations with Serbia.
Parliament calls for a functioning legislature and government in order to advance EU-related reforms and support Kosovo’s path toward the EU as a potential candidate country,” the European Parliament said in a post on X.
