Following the tragedy on the Skopje-Bllacë road where three Kosovar citizens lost their lives, well-known Prishtina lawyer Arianit Koci has launched a public appeal for information gathering, INA reports.

In a statement addressed to the public, he has raised a series of key questions regarding the circumstances of the event.
Koci, who represents the families of the deceased, invites anyone with information about the fatal accident on the Skopje-Bllacë highway section, where Ejup Tërnava, Xhenet Tërnava and Fatmire Shabani lost their lives, to contact him in writing.
The main questions raised by the lawyer include identifying the entity that built this road segment, who supervised the work, and who was responsible for safety measures in that area.
He emphasizes that the segment in question was officially closed to traffic, but at the moment of the accident, the entrance gate through which the vehicle entered was not physically blocked.
Meanwhile, about 300 meters further on, another entrance to the same segment was closed with physical barriers, which adds to the uncertainties about the area’s security.
In this context, the lawyer seeks clarification on why the two entrances to the same section were not equally secured, and whether the entrance used by the victims had been physically blocked in the days or weeks prior to the tragedy.
He also wants to know who carried out the physical closure of that entrance immediately after the accident, at what moment and under whose institution’s order, if such a thing occurred.
In his call, lawyer Koci urges citizens to send photographs, video recordings, documents or any other evidence that could help clarify the case, stressing that all valuable materials will be forwarded to the North Macedonian Prosecutor’s Office for review within the official investigations.
