A serious accident at a construction site in the capital claimed the life of a worker after a crane collapsed on them.

Enis Pllana, spokesperson for the Prishtina region police, told “Bota sot” that two people were injured during the incident and were urgently transported to the hospital.
“Regarding the incident, we inform you that two individuals suffered bodily injuries and received immediate medical assistance. Unfortunately, one of the injured could not survive the wounds and lost his life. The medical team at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo confirmed his death,” Pllana stated.
The spokesperson also clarified that police forces arrived at the scene without delay and carried out all necessary preliminary procedures.
“Competent police units, in cooperation with the State Prosecutor, have launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances that led to this incident,” he added for “Bota sot”.
