American General George Wikoff has arrived for a visit in Kosovo. During his stay, he was received today at the Government premises by acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The joint discussions, which were also attended by the KFOR mission commander, Ozkan Ulutas, addressed the security situation and the coordination of actions between Kosovo institutions and the North Atlantic Alliance.
After the meeting, Kurti expressed his gratitude for NATO’s role. “We are deeply grateful for NATO’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and safe environment for all citizens and communities, as well as for its unwavering contribution towards lasting peace and long-term stability in our country and throughout the Western Balkans region,” he stated.
Continuing the conversation, the acting Prime Minister added that the central topic with Admiral Wikoff was precisely the security situation and the strengthening of cooperation between Kosovo’s structures and NATO.
