Heatwave “Engulfs” the Country as African Heat Returns, July to End with Temperatures Above 40 Degrees Celsius

Starting tomorrow, the country will be “engulfed” by a mass of hot African air during the final days of July.

According to weather forecasters, temperatures will rise significantly in several areas, climbing above 40 degrees Celsius.

Extreme temperatures are also forecast for the first half of August, when they are expected to exceed 42 degrees Celsius.

Authorities are urging citizens to exercise extra caution, particularly during the hottest hours of the day, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and drink plenty of fluids.
