Agron Shehaj, leader of the Mundësia Party, returned to the parliamentary podium after a month-long absence as a result of a decision issued against him by the Bureau. He said he had anticipated being prevented from entering the chamber during the previous session.

Referring to the expanded meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Shehaj described it as shameful and said everyone present had kept their heads bowed.
“First, I must thank you for allowing me to be in this chamber. What happened last time was an outright scandal, as an opposition MP was arbitrarily barred from entering the chamber. I knew I would not be able to enter the Parliament of corruption and of those who have made citizens’ lives miserable for 35 years. I knew I would not manage to get in, but everyone had to see how you operate and what you do with the Rules of Procedure. You treat Parliament as your own property,” he said.
According to Shehaj, Rama’s presence in Parliament was the reason he was not allowed to enter the chamber. He said the prime minister could not appear as he had the last time, looking tired, while citizens had been protesting for 2 months demanding his resignation, adding that Rama “aged in a day.”
Shehaj also said that Belinda, whom he described as corrupt, was protected by the majority’s votes.
According to him, Rama avoids facing the opposition, gathers his party and effectively addresses only its members.
“This is the scandal. He gathered you in a pathetic manner, and you all had your heads down. Shamelessly, he mocked a vulnerable woman while Taulant grinned. Poor and vulnerable people bother him; he shamelessly imitates the woman. Why shouldn’t she protest? Taulant is concerned,” Shehaj said.
