According to journalist Klodiana Lala, investigators suspect that the target of the assassination attempt was the nephew of Kastriot Kila, known by the nickname “Ot Kila.”
Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that the gunman may have used a silicone mask and a long-haired wig to prevent his identification.
The suspect was reportedly wearing black clothing, a dark jacket and gloves. His method of operation has raised suspicions that the attack was carefully organized, with the aim of ensuring that the perpetrator left no trace.
Footage recorded by security cameras, together with evidence collected at the scene, is being examined by the police and the investigative team. The checks are intended to identify the perpetrator and fully reconstruct how the attack unfolded.
Information gathered so far indicates that Tomorrica and Mance were sitting at a table on the bar’s veranda with waiter Biorgi Hoxha. Witnesses said the perpetrator approached them and initially insulted them verbally. He then pulled out a firearm and fired several times at them, wounding all three.
During an examination of the scene, forensic police specialists seized 6 shell casings. They will undergo ballistic analysis, which is expected to help both identify the perpetrator and fully clarify the circumstances.
Armando Tomorrica, Renaldo Manc and Biorgi Hoxha received initial medical treatment at Elbasan Regional Hospital.
The investigation is continuing to determine the motive. Previous conflicts and clashes between criminal groups are being examined as the main line of inquiry. So far, the authorities have not issued an official statement regarding any suspects or the precise nature of the incident. “Ot Kila” is known to the police and is considered an enemy of Suel Çela.
