A serious traffic incident has shaken the Çermë–Divjakë national road, near the village of Çermë-Shkumbin, where a person died instantly.
It is reported that two cars, a BMW and an Opel, collided head-on. The impact proved fatal for Bajram Kaçani, 39, who was behind the wheel of the Opel and lost his life at the scene.

Meanwhile, five other individuals were traveling in the BMW, who sustained bodily injuries. They are three children and two adults, who fortunately, according to medical personnel, are not in life-threatening condition.
The injured were rushed to Lushnjë Hospital for specialized medical care.
Immediately after the alarm, Road Police forces arrived at the accident site, carrying out all necessary legal procedures and meticulously documenting the scene of the tragedy.
A special investigative team, supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office, has begun work to clarify the exact dynamics and causes that led to this collision with deadly consequences for the 39-year-old, who was also a father of three children.
