Lawyer Gazmend Halilaj published a reaction on social media, stating that former president Vjosa Osmani was defeated not only in the elections, but also in the “legal battle” at the Special Prosecution Office.
According to Halilaj, there had been an attempt in March to have Halil Geci sent to prison. He believes that the events that followed proved that “Baci Lila was as innocent as a tear.”

In his post, Halilaj wrote that the electoral defeat was not Vjosa Osmani’s only loss, claiming that she also lost the legal battle against him and Baci Lila at the Special Prosecution Office.
He added that, in her capacity as president, Osmani had tried in March to imprison Baci Lila, but according to him, time showed that he was “as innocent as a tear.”
