The head of the Democratic parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has responded to Minister Ulsi Manja, calling him a defender of Prime Minister Edi Rama and warning him that justice may knock on his door as well.
In his rebuttal, Bardhi clarifies that the lawsuit filed by the opposition at the Special Prosecution does not target the rapper Kanye West, but the head of government.

“We haven’t taken Kanye to SPAK, but Edi. The reason is that Edi has abused his office by pouring 4.2 million euros from the state coffers as cash for a private concert,” Bardhi emphasizes. He calls on Manja not to deceive the prime minister about his legal situation and adds that the minister should also start preparing to face SPAK.
Beyond this, the Democratic MP throws two public questions at the Minister of Justice, demanding transparency over his connections with businessman Paulin Rajta. According to Bardhi, intervening to secure licenses in violation of the law constitutes a crime, and the position becomes even more serious if this intervention is linked to appointments to state posts.
“Ulsi Manja, between the role of the naive and the SPAK investigation. I find it hard to tell if he easily plays the fool, but I know for sure that today he has reached the peak of his performance,” Bardhi writes, addressing the minister directly. “Now that you may be calmer about Kanye, at least don’t cut short the truth to Edi about his criminal position, and get ready yourself to appear before SPAK!”
Continuing, Bardhi challenges Manja to show courage in answering, before doing so in the prosecution, two concrete questions: “What is your relationship with Paulin Rajta?” and “Did you pressure Belinda Balluku to enable him to obtain a hydropower plant in the Dibër district?”
“When you are not playing the role of the servile for Edi Rama’s account, you know very well that pressure to grant licenses in violation of the law is a criminal offense. And when this is done for a businessman whom later, as Minister of Justice, you appoint as head of the Prison Police, the criminal liability becomes even greater,” Bardhi concludes, reminding Manja that not even servility can protect him forever, and that SPAK may soon knock on his door.
