Drilon Cakoli, Erona Cakoli’s brother, spoke at a protest in Pristina calling for justice for women who have been killed and accountability from institutions. He said the family is not satisfied with the 24-year prison sentence for his sister’s murder.
According to Cakoli, no sentence can bring Erona back, but her life deserves justice and the family’s pain must be heard. He called for justice to be served and for her case to be treated with the seriousness it deserves.
