Kosovo Police have appealed to the public for help locating Adnon Jashari. He is wanted on a charge of “aggravated murder” in connection with the killing of Diana Kastrati on May 18, 2011, in Pristina.
Jashari, who is accused of murdering his former partner, has been on the run since 2011. The Basic Court in Pristina has called on him to surrender and face justice.

The police statement explains that the appeal for public assistance is based on a court order setting November 10, 2026, as the date for the trial hearing.
The killing of Diana Kastrati in the capital 15 years ago shocked the public. Before she was killed, she had sought protection from the authorities.
Kosovo Police urge anyone with information about Adnon Jashari’s whereabouts to send it to [email protected] or visit the nearest police station.
The accused is presumed innocent until a final ruling is issued by the court.
