This Saturday, students will hold a national protest following three weeks of reactions and rallies against the government, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Under the slogan “We will not stop without a resignation,” young people have mobilized to gather at 12:00 in front of the Ministry of Education, where the protest is expected to take place.

Lecturers are also expected to support the students. For several days, they have boycotted the teaching process, joining the young people’s demands. Democrats are also expected to return to the square, in a show of solidarity with the student protest.
In their calls, the students have articulated the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama as their main demand, as well as the departure of the current political class, calling for a new spirit in Albania.
After several weeks of protests, the young people continue to insist that they will not back down until their demands are met, while today’s rally is expected to be another important moment for the student movement.
