Rainer Rudolph, Germany’s ambassador to Kosovo, said that Milan Radoiçiq and everyone responsible for the armed attack in Banjska must answer to justice.
In a statement to KosovaPress, he recalled that Germany has expressed its position on several occasions regarding responsibility for the attack on September 24, 2023, in Banjska, Zvečan. According to Rudolph, Radoiçiq and the other individuals responsible must appear before a court.

Asked about the elections in Serbia, where Albanians are running as a united bloc, as well as reports of pressure and propaganda during the campaign, the ambassador said he would not comment on Serbia’s internal processes. He nevertheless expressed hope that conditions would be created for progress in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, better relations between the two countries and, ultimately, their full normalization.
The dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is conducted with the mediation of the European Union and aims to normalize relations. Implementing the agreements reached, including the Brussels Agreement and the 2023 Ohrid Annex, remains one of the challenges in the process. The EU has repeatedly called on both sides to fulfill their commitments, refrain from taking steps that increase tensions and engage constructively to advance normalization.
