With support from and in cooperation with the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Kosovo Police held roundtable discussions on “School safety”. The initiative aims to prevent harmful behavior and incidents of violence in secondary schools.
The meetings took place from September 23 to October 22, 2026, in Prishtina, Prizren, Gjilan and Peja, according to a Kosovo Police statement.

Their purpose was to identify and prevent problems in secondary schools, encourage prompt reporting and develop recommendations for addressing issues related to violence in school settings.
Participants included student and parent councils, teachers, municipal education representatives, community members and Kosovo Police officials.
According to police, participants put forward a number of recommendations, which will be reviewed and implemented on an ongoing basis.
