What happened yesterday?
The Democratic Party group blocked the rostrum at the very start of the session and engaged in a heated argument with Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi. Following the initial tensions, Peleshi decided to move the session directly to a vote on the bills.
The Democrats then began taking the Socialists’ voting cards, preventing them from voting, which required the intervention of the Guard. A confrontation then took place between Democratic Party lawmaker Fadil Kreka and Socialist Party lawmaker Ervin Hoxha, which almost escalated into a fistfight between them. At one point, two lawmakers also insulted each other from a distance.
