The well-known Kosovar rapper Capital T, who a few days ago had a phone conversation with a police officer from Albania, where he was asked to report once he returned from the United States, has reacted through a video message, expressing support for the student protests.
In his message, the artist emphasizes that he could not stay silent about the scenes that have taken place, underlining that the well-being of his people is more important than any professional engagement.

He also said he feels deeply affected by the situation and that he cannot continue his musical activity as if nothing had happened.
“How can they think I would see those scenes unfolding and not react. Of course I will react and I absolutely support the students and my people for every cause that has to do with their rights. Our hearts ache to see Albania in this kind of state and my people who have supported me have given me this love. I have no calculations to make when it comes to these people, nothing is greater than the well-being of my people. I can’t even make music, or release songs, or do concerts as long as I see those scenes and of course I will react. There is nothing that can separate me,” Capital T says.
While wishing that the students’ voice is heard, the singer from Kosovo says that his support is not for gratitude or for protagonism, but that he supports every concern over injustice.
“I hope that the students’ voice will be heard, I hope that this violence and destruction stops, and know that you have my support. I have shown it at many stages and I don’t want gratitude or protagonism. I am simply one of you and for this I will be there, for every injustice,” he says.
