The Basic Prosecution Office in Peja has filed an indictment against a defendant suspected of committing the criminal offenses of “aggravated murder” and “unauthorized possession, control or ownership of weapons.”
According to the indictment, the incident occurred on March 21, 2026, at around 3:00 p.m., in Bokshiq, Klinë. Following a dispute over property between the victim and their father, the suspect allegedly took a firearm and fired four shots at the victim, his brother.

As a result of the injuries, the victim suffered severe internal and external bleeding and later died at the Peja Regional Hospital.
The Prosecution’s statement also says that the defendant kept and possessed, without authorization, a 9×19 mm pistol, one magazine and ten (10) rounds of the same caliber, without having a permit from the competent authorities.
With the filing of the indictment, the State Prosecutor requested that the competent court, following the trial and the presentation of evidence, find the defendant guilty and sentence him in accordance with the law for the criminal offenses attributed to him.
