A black bag containing around one kilogram of marijuana was found in the possession of B.B. (40), from Gostivar, who was detained near the Qafë Thanë border crossing, in the Struga area, the Ministry of Interior announced.
The detention was carried out on October 21, 2026, at 8:50 p.m., by officers from the Mobile “Task Force” Team of the “West” Regional Center for Border Affairs in Ohrid, together with the Frangovo Border Surveillance Police Station.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the narcotics were discovered during the implementation of measures and activities to combat the illegal trafficking of drugs.
A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Struga was informed about the case.
The Ministry of Interior said that, once the case has been fully documented, the “West” Regional Center for Border Affairs in Ohrid will file the appropriate criminal report against the detainee. /Telegrafi/
