Vlora Çitaku proposed as the sole acting chair of the PDK

Vlora Çitaku, the secretary-general of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, is the sole candidate proposed to serve as acting chair of the party.

PDK MP and party presidium member Blerta Deliu confirmed this information to kp.

“Yes, I can confirm that Ms Çitaku has been proposed as acting chair of the PDK,” Deliu said.

The proposal comes after Bedri Hamza’s irrevocable resignation as PDK chair, which he announced during the day.

During a press conference, Hamza clarified that he was not leaving the PDK, but only stepping down as its chair.
