During a debate with Socialist Party Secretary-General Blendi Klosi, Sulo said that a large number of students, lecturers and parents had taken part in the protest. Klosi, meanwhile, said that representatives of the Democratic Party had appeared at the gathering and were, in his view, trying to gain ground, even though the party was the biggest loser.
Klosi: The participation of Democratic Party representatives clearly shows an attempt to gain ground in an arena where this party is undoubtedly the biggest loser.
Sulo: There were 1,000 lecturers. Two thousand have signed, while 3,000-4,000 people were in the square, including students, lecturers and parents. What problem do you have with the Democratic Party having 1,000 lecturers?
Klosi: I do not think at all that the Democratic Party has 1,000 lecturers. It would be very good if it did, but it does not.
Sulo: It is good for it to have them, because you have kept Gysin and Suelin. They are lecturers who want to bring down Rama, whether they belong to the Democratic Party, the Greens or another political force.
Klosi: The Socialist Party has 850,000 votes.
Sulo: So, are you going to investigate their backgrounds?
Klosi: I am not referring to their backgrounds. They have the right to protest and are under increased protection.
Sulo: The prime minister said that they are like that and need a psychologist, and even that they do not know how to put seven words together. Do you have a problem with the lecturers?
