After its stocks of tear gas, used during protests by students and citizens, ran out, the Albanian Police obtained tear gas, rubber bullets and stun grenades from North Macedonia.

According to sources close to the Qafë Thanë customs post, the shipment arrived in Albania today.
The materials were manufactured by ICEMAK, which is owned by Jordan and Doncho Anchovski. Its factory is located in the municipality of Sopishte, near Skopje, and has been producing rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades since 2008.
