Details of the meeting were made public by KFOR itself in a statement.
According to the mission, the meeting served to establish direct contact following the appointment of Major General Vergori as head of KFOR. They discussed cooperation and reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, international security cooperation for all communities living in Kosovo, and maintaining stability throughout the Western Balkans.
Albania contributes 17 soldiers to NATO’s KFOR mission.
