Dimitrieska-Koçoska: Cut in VAT on diesel and excise duty extended until November 2, 2026

Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Koçoska announced on Facebook that the government has extended until November 2, 2026, the implementation of measures reducing VAT on diesel from 18 to 10 percent, as well as the excise duty on fuels.

According to the minister, these decisions are helping to mitigate the impact of prices on the retail cost of fuels, easing the financial burden on citizens and the economy.

“We are closely monitoring developments in international markets and taking timely action, with the aim of protecting living standards and maintaining economic stability,” the finance minister emphasized.
