The government of North Macedonia approved a decision at its meeting today to expand the activities of the National Institution “Koço Racin” Library in Tetovo and transform it into the “Koço Racin” University Library in Tetovo. The decision was made on the proposal of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Culture announced.

According to the announcement, the decision is an important step for Tetovo in its capacity as a university center and will also help develop higher education, science and library services.
As a national institution in the field of culture, the “Koço Racin” Library in Tetovo meets the cultural, informational and educational needs of the citizens of Tetovo and the Polog region.
The expansion of its activities will give students, professors and researchers broader access to the collections and services offered by the library.
