For the fourth consecutive day, students and high school pupils have taken to the streets to protest against the government. Police used tear gas against the crowd during the young people’s protest on Durrës Street in Tirana, and some protesters suffered irritation and injuries to their faces, particularly their eyes.
Amid the tension, several girls helped those affected by rinsing their eyes with saline solution to ease the discomfort caused by the tear gas.
