The Macedonian opposition party LSDM says Mickoski and his aide Nikolovski are trying to find a pretext for elections. According to the party, the government has lost the support of citizens and relies only on its party loyalists placed within state institutions, whom LSDM calls mercenaries.

LSDM points to a poll that it says was conducted by an agency paid 400,000 euros with taxpayers’ money. The party claims its opponents have themselves acknowledged, through the poll, a decline of more than 40 percent in support for OBRM-PDUKM since the last elections. It also accuses them of daily lies, economic collapse and diplomatic scandals, as well as backroom diplomacy financed by arms dealers, projects awarded in advance to private companies without transparency, antimony for weapons and data centers for foreign digitalization.
The opposition says citizens are struggling even to afford food. According to LSDM, what it calls false patriotism, linked to Bulgarian passports and companies, will not succeed. It says the “satellites” will not get through either, because they have all been exposed. LSDM describes the Left as a Russian party opposed to America’s strategic partner, NATO and the EU, and says it has joined Platform ZNAM 2.0 and the original ZNAM, which LSDM calls a project of Mickoski’s from the last elections that no longer exists.
LSDM claims there is no money for either wages or pensions. According to the party, the budget is short 900 million euros; it has been revised twice, and a third revision has been announced by the end of the year. The party reiterates that pensions are short by one billion euros and says that, after the money has been spent, the second pension pillar will have to be nationalized. It adds that 4 billion euros have been borrowed in two years, an amount it says equals half of Macedonia’s debt accumulated since independence.
