During his participation in the European Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Rome, the speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, met with the speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş.

According to Gashi, the bilateral meeting reaffirmed the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries and explored opportunities to expand cooperation between the two parliaments. The interlocutors also discussed the exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest.
The speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia praised the lasting partnership with Turkey and expressed his commitment to further deepening it, based on mutual trust and respect.
