French newspapers “Le Monde” and “Le Figaro” have reported on the tense political situation in the country, where protesters continue to call for the prime minister’s resignation.

“Le Monde” focused on the rallies held in Tirana, emphasizing that citizens have taken to the streets to demand Edi Rama’s removal from office.

According to the newspaper, the protest movement has not been limited to the capital but has also spread to other cities across Albania. Students have played an important role in it.

Students have expressed dissatisfaction with the state of the universities, the high cost of their studies and the lack of support for young people. Their demands have merged with broader opposition to the government and accusations of corruption.

“Le Figaro” has also reported on developments in Albania, highlighting the anger emerging on the streets of Tirana against Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The French newspaper refers to protests that have been challenging the government for weeks, while student participation has expanded their scale and given the mobilization a new dimension.

Among the protesters’ concerns are the cost of higher education, university conditions and the lack of prospects for young people. The dissatisfaction is also accompanied by accusations of corruption and criticism of the way the country is governed.

The demand for the prime minister’s resignation has become one of the main slogans of the protests, which have now spread beyond Tirana.

The reporting by the French media comes at a time when the protests are continuing, students are organizing and pressure on the Socialist government is intensifying.
